been working on the same "on-going" project myself. The corner lights are 194s. I'm not exactly sure what size the long bulb is for the backups, but without a doubt, 194s can fit in them. I bought some 12-LED HyperWhite 194s for them. And the turns are 3157, same as the tails. But fair warning, if you place LEDs in the turn signals, they are going to blink "annoyingly" fast, so buy one of the kits to regulate:
LOAD RESISTOR KITS
One LOAD Resistor is required for each turn signal bulb
6 Ohm, 50 Watt resistors can be connected across the turn signal bulbs to simulate the load of a regular filament bulb (2 Amp load). This will solve LED related turn signal problems such as hyper flashing or burnt out bulb indications. Resistor measures 1.96L x .64W x .60H inches, leads are 12 inches long.
Kit Includes gel filled moisture resistant splice taps.

You're canceling out the energy saving benefit of having LEDs with that resistor. You're better off changing the flasher to one that isn't dependent on load.

i didnt do my leds for any energy saving

i doubt they are doing this to save energy.
how bout cause it looks cool
fuck it if you want it to work right, get the thing

Well, when i swap out to LEDs I'm going to get a flasher with an adjustable rate to it, or possibly a strobe type flasher. I don't need a resistor just eating up electricity making heat.

How would you go about changing the flasher? Where would you find a replacement that would work with leds, and what would be involved?

It requires splicing 3 wires on the hazard switch because the original is built in to it.

Sorry for diggin this up but i am having a problem trying to find the radioshack alternative resistor. I looked up 274.0120 and nothing . But with 271.0120,it pulls up an 8 ohm 20 watt resistor. Will it work?

Personally I put Leds in all my tails and I like the fast flashing better.

me 2 - nothing is better than having your blinkers flashing fast on crack

I always thought the fast blinking burn something out eventually.

its very interesting that you said your cruize control dont work cause for some reason when I turn mine on it works for a bit then shuts off. I have LED buld replaced for all my lights. how would it be possible for the LED lights to cause an issue with the cruize control?

IIRC people said you need to install resistors with the LED's because the car thinks that you have a bulb out in the back, therefor the cruise wont work.
