led color organ

i want to put led's like 6 per pillar and when i say pillar i mean the piece on eith side of the front windsheild. so that they light up to the music in my car. have looked and looked and can find no how to's. please help.

Personally, it would be annoying to me (everyone is different, and i have my car lit up like a christmas tree anyway) but i'd highly recommend putting a killswitch in. Just a hidden switch that can interrupt the ground on the lights.

Local law inforcement will probably say its a "distraction" and could possibly give you a ticket for it (if they are looking for a reason) and like alot of led lighting.... every once in a while, you just don't want to look at it.

I your going to do this......

Put the leds behind some frosted plexy glass (clear plexy sanded with 220 grit sand paper) it will look alot better that just leds on the pilars and it will have more of a blend effect between the colors.
