Turbo/superchargers

Is there any way to get a turbo charger or a supercharger from a junkyard and put it on the Alero?? Just wondering. Probably a dumb question but I had to ask

yes you can. but you have to order a turbo exhaust manifold from exploited or someone else.

well if he finds a t3 or t3/t4 in the junk yard then he can use that. Use a DSM intercooler. but most of it will have to be made or bought new.

You can piece a system together if you want or buy a new turbo kit.

far as S/C.......well unless you can make your own maifold for a M62 our out of luck.

whenever you buy a turbo from a junkyard, it's a good idea to have it checked out and possibly rebuilt.

Either way you're stuck getting a manifold brand new www.exploitedracing.com has turbo manifolds available.

intercooler try ebay or a junkyard for stuff from dsm's or saab's

the 1g blow off valve from a dsm is a great pick up, also www.roadraceengineering.com has 1g crushed blow off valves that can handle more than 20psi of abuse...

plumbing you're stuck with handling that yourself, and well your imagination...

for fuel management... well expect to spend real money on new parts there...
