So this is my problem: my car is trying to turn over but it just cannot do it. Thought it was my battery brought it in and got a new one cause the old one failed the test. Put it in still nothing, so we tried to jump start my car still nothing. The fuel pump turns on so that is still working. the lights all come on so we ruled out the altenator. Please any suggestion would be a great help. And if it is a frozen fuel line that will suck because it has been on average about -3 here all week a little warmer than that mid afternoon.

How strong is the cranking?

I had a simial problem about a month ago. Turns out it was the igntion lock cyl and passlock system went bad. Cost me $552 to get fixed, but that did include the new cyl to be coded to my orginal key.

Does you're SES light come on for a second when you try to start it? If it doesn't, that is probably you're problem

is the engine cranking at normal speed?

if it isn't, it's something in the charging system (or the starter itself). if the battery is good, check the grounds.

if the engine is cranking normally, it would be either fuel or spark. as pointed out above, security could be the culprit on this.

i have had issues with the security and this is totally different. It is cranky like it normally does it just will not go all the way over.

I was out there yesterday seeing if it would start again and well, apparently i failed to notice the security light flashing before. So I did the passlock code and 15 min later it started right. It was a glorious sound hearing it start up. Thank you to those who gave there input. BTW what is the PCM Fuse?
