Alright, I just bought a new set of eibach springs for 175 shipped. That's a steal as far as I'm concerned. My car has just over 55,000 on it, so I'm thinking of doing the struts also. I can get a good deal on a pair of new KYB GR2's, but I don't really want to drop 130 on GR2 rear's from e-bay or something. Would anyone see a problem with getting a different kind of strut for the rear, or just replacing the rears with new OEM's?

Also, when I go to take this to the shop to get them put on, am I going to need to being anything special for them to install struts/springs? I just don't want them to tell me that they can't put them on because they're missing something trivial.

IDK if you should mix OEM with KYBs only becuase the KYB is a bit better than stock.

If you were only looking to do OEM new ones, that would probably be OK.

Anything else you'll need, they can probably get, like strut boots, etc

as long as the fronts are the same and the rears are the same it shouldnt be a problem.

the gr2's are worth the cash. They will be able to do it with just that but may reccomend new strut mounts. You will need an alignment fyi.

Yeah, I knew the alignment was a must, I'm getting new tires / springs / struts all at the same time.

Actually, I thought it over, and I did go with the sprint struts. I'll let you know. I probably wont have them installed untill mid-march though.

Might need camber bolts, the "toe" will be off a bit with Sprints

With the struts? I thought the toe was only off because of the large drop the sprint springs have. I'm using eibach springs rather than sprint.

I run one set of camber bolts with the Eibachs, but other run reg bolts and have no issues
