I think it all depends on what you want, what's best for you. I have 2 12" Infinity's that are perfect for me: sound quality, price, appearance, etc...

That a look at these sites, you might find something you like, or a review of the subs your thinking of getting:

ecoustics (http://www.ecoustics.com/)
Car Audio Review (http://www.carreview.com/defaultcrx.aspx)
Sound Domain (http://www.sounddomain.com/reviews)
epinions (http://www.epinions.com/elec-Car_Stereo)
bah...too many sites to list...just try this:
Google search (http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=car+audio+reviews&meta=)

Almosty scary. I have one 12 Kicker Solo Baric and it hits hard. I have seen a couple of cars with 2 12's. They hit really hard. Would really like to hear 2 15 Solo Baric Kicker's. Couldn't imagine how hard they would hit.

Therar is a stero shop here in ottawa and they put a 15" kicker in a bronco or somthing like that and the guy blew it because he was under running the sub.. needles to say if you get that sub make sure you got enough power to run it...

I have a jl audio 15w3 and I love it but it is in a sealed box and is a sq box so i am only hitting 140 db but ti sounds bad ass and I think that jl is some of the best speakers that you can buy for the money.

It all depends what u want. Do u want volume or u want sound quality? I think that the kickers are sloppy bass. And about the JL's I would only invest in the w6's or for sure the w7. But I like clean bass, stuff that I know i can trust and wont sound like crap. I would go with a JL W7 its gor power and its clean.

i love clean, hard bass. i love JL subs. some of the best out there. Unfortunely my wallet don't like them. But they main thing is cubic ft. I miss the sound of a 15 but don't want a 3 cubic ft box. that is why i thought of kicker

Right now I have a Rockford 15, few years old and I am impressed, but it takes away most all of the trunk room...i would recommend getting either a 12 or two 10's...the installation of the amps and wires and all that easily pushed me $1000.00 and not to mention it works wonders on the battery

...but do what you want...its just my opinon.... B)

My friend has 2 15"s (infinity I believe) in his ford escort wagon... poopty car, but a wagon is perfect because its better reinforced than our trunks... yes they hit hard *understatement*

Christ, a 12" W7 takes a 3 cu. foot box. I can't imagine what a 15" would require- if you're gonna do that you may as well just fabricate a custom trunk out of fiberglass for it and your amp and make it a show piece- kiss trunk space goodbye!

^^ that is why i am not getting W7's and why i am leaning towards the kicker solo-baric 15 .

The JL 13.7 w7 is the largest one they make... in the w7 line...
For the price of one 13.7 w7 you could get 4 Alpine R15's (or at least i can with my hook ups) power the 4 15's with the same power as the one JL would require and have more than twice the output...easily...
and still be able to sell half the system if you wanted too....
however room is an issue...
Also the alpines have exceptional sQ for a 15, but so do the JL's
For beast 15's the linear line from "Audio-bomb" are quite impressive... but like all audiobahn they are a lot of flash and often lack in quality...
Rockford makes a sub.. only known as the RFL (Realy F-ing Loud) it comes in a crate... and is rebuildable...
The 15 kicker is a good driver.. however if you like anything other than rap... and really hard bass you may want to look for a driver with more of a sq aptitude... the solobaric is kinda a one note sub... freq responce is lacking with that model.. compared to something like a R-type or a kappa perfect series...
Allthou i wasnt aware that Infinity makes 15's just 10's and 12's... allthou i wouldnt mind being wrong...lol
Jus my 2 cents...
