Pay a trim shop $100 to fix it for you. That's what I did.

I just bought a Dash Cap thing on eBay.
The guy had good feedback, and it seemed pretty decent, so I bought it

My car is a 2000 and I have had it for coming up on Three years now and I haven't seen this at all on my dash. Now door trim that's another story.

Mine is starting to do this but its in a totally different spot. Mine has this long crease in it right about the glove box. Where the 2 different colored vinyls meet... about an inch below that. I just noticed it about a week ago.

i have the 'ol dash ripple, and its right behind the gauge cluster, so when it gets warm, i'll try getting a bag of sand or something and a hair dryer.....heat the adhesive back up, and put the bag on the vinyl and in theory, it should stick back down. doubt it'll work, but its worth a shot

I have done the whole heat then stretch and glue thing...it didnt work...i even did this while my windshield was being replaced..so i had a good angle to try and fix it...the next crazy hot day it came right back up...but whats this i hear about fixing it for $100...i have been quoted much higher....good luck!!!

Mine is all messed up, main. pulled up from where the windshield meets to the instrument panel and the air bag vinyl is almost off.
I was gonna get a head gun and adhesive but Freezeman (sorry if thats wrong) said he tried that already.
I'm in the same boat as you, my money aint right and I can't hit up the trim shop. Im tryna fix it cheap and good, I'll hit you up and let you know, I'll get some pics too.
I was thinking bout tryin a heat gun, liquid nails and this wieght thing I made to sit right on it.
Homeboy on here with the username Branson took the vinyl off his airbag thing and you can't really even tell, he gots some pics of it on a post somewhere (sorry I cain't remember where).
I'm thinking about ripping my vinyl off the airbag thing too, making a olds logo I can heat up and impress into the plastic and then paint it, something original I ain't seen yet, but thats gonna take time
But I'll hit this back wit some pics when I ghetto fix mine, however I do it.
We need a Po Folks thread where we can talk about how to fix/mod our stuff on a budget, you heard me?
