Not really too pissed about. Maybe the insurance company will pay to get my hood repainted.

But if I ever caught the motherfucker that did it, I would only break thier hand and maybe a bone or two in the face. Yah Yah Yah he could sue, but he'll never forget the pain ;)

Kinda hard to see the sratch, but it's there

The only place I went yesterday was to my buddy's house. We all went downtown but the car stayed at his place.

It wasn't there when I left for his house on Saturday morning, and I noticed it this morning (Sunday).

The Delta and the Altima aren't keyed so that and I kind doubt it happened here anyway.

It doesn't spell anything, it's just the one scratch that goes up towards the windshield at about a 45* angle then to a straight line and down sharply. There are two more striaght lines going down at the start of the deep scratch, they'll buff out no problem

Pretty lame! :/

Might've just been some kids BSing around and one slide over your hood with a studden belt or something, too. Looks pretty tame to be a malicious key-ing.

Bleh, still not a good thing.

some kids are stupid, that sucks!

Reminds me that one time when one of the guy where we play deck hockey had a 2X4 stuck in the middle of his windshield and a concrete block was thrown at the same windshield and on the hood multiple times for absolutely nothing. Nothing stolen.

I know how ya feel red dog.

My gf at the time skipped class to go outside to the school parking lot and key my car all the way down multiple times to the metal. Never could prove it was her to the police, and it is still like that to this day.

if it was a keying... i'd think it'd be longer... or a more defined "FU!" type attack. who keys a car in a semi-elipse?

to me, it looks like something was blown across your hood, or someone slide across it w/ something.

i could be wrong though. and insurance covering it!? are you freaking kidding me?? my deductables wouldn't even cover the cost of a new hood! :wtf:

got the side of my car keyed at school as well last fall.. Its a pretty deep scratch but not down to the metal.. going to see if it'll buff out this spring and if it doesn't then i'll get it repainted.

the stupid school cameras were looking at a tree and we never could prove that it was this one kid who i suspect did it.

i know how you feel redog, but its good that its not too bad and can most-likely be fixed easily and cheaply.

hmm.. this is one thing my ultimate security system idea for my car does not cover. must find a way to detect key contact and send a very powerful electric shock to the keyer, along with the train horn alarm and flamethrowers on the sides. should fend em off.

if u can put a nail in it. it wont buff out and u have to use a little filler and airbrush it to match the paint and have it even thats y youll always see the little trucks and trailer on dealership lots thats what they do. we had a really really good guy when i worked at subaru.

heh, your upset about getting keyed, try sliding on the ice and hitting a curb......have your bumper ripped off, flat tire, new fog light, and some other plastic parts. IM PISSED!!!!!:( I gotta put one of my chromes on tomorrow and see how she drives. Nothing looks out of alignment, but im going to bring it into school tuesday and see how much it will cost to paint the bumper and shit. Then i will have the mechanical teacher check out the suspension parts to see if they are bent. But im pretty upset. Pics will be up eventually, my sister took them on her camera and i have to wait for her to upload them.

dude just please stop while your ahead, those guys sucks, i dont care what you say , you want to know how here ya go
all ya do is D.A. the scratch with 120 then 180 then 240, prep the area for primer, prep the panle and adjacent panles for blending, apply paint,
there is NO need for a body filler when fixing a scratch, ken have it fixed the correct way like i know you will
