ASS 2008 title.

So I'm going to be making a video for the ASS 2008. I'm working on a menu screen for the dvd. This is my first layout, and will most likely change, but I wanted some input on it. It's not going to be OVER THE TOP as it will need room for the DVD menu buttons and such. I might throw in a little animation too. Just depends on how big the actual video size is going to be. So let me know what you think.

Personally, I think the red & black thing seems a little deathy. Also, I think you're planning this waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too early.

What can I say... It's my first time going to ASS. :) Like I said, it was a basic outline. I threw in the red background thing to give it a little something instead of just a black background. This will be animated too.. lol I'm starting this really early so I can get all these graphics figured out and done.

I might use that image as the DVD menu, but I'm not sure yet. I'll wait and do that when I actually get the video done. Right now, I'm working on possible titles for the video.

This is something I threw together to get my idea across. Don't bash me for any poor quality or the bad audio. This is a rough cut of what I'm getting at for the title.... And note, there will be music playing too so it will be blended in with that.

Pick one yourself because nobody here will ever agree on it. Instead of a dvd, the best thing is make a regular video and youtube it. Unless your gonna try selling it?

Even then, we dont need anything professional. Just something good that captures the weekend is the best kind. I love watching the older ASS videos and it gets ya excited.

I still vote the best video was oldsnut and scot fighting with the putters :lol:

yeah I know. I'm not planning on selling it to anyone. But I will make a DVD for those who want one. And it will be free only to those who are going. Other than that, I'll most likely post it on youtube. :p I'm making it more of a professional type video for me mostly. Just to show off to people who might like to do business with me. After all, it is going to be part of my business. :D

Since I can not go to ASS this year, I am wondering if you might want to make an extra dvd. I'd be willing to pay a small price for it just so I could see the show, the cars, & those of you who are going this year.

The font can be changed. I just picked one that was close to the font on here for the aleromod.com logo up on the top of the page.....
