My Car Is One Of The Few Without An Amp In The Trunk From The Factory. To My Knowledge I Would Need A Aftermarket Radio In Order To Connect An Aftermarket Amp Is This Correct> Id Love To Install An Amp The Dealer Put In After Market Speakers And They Need More Power But I Love My Factory Radio I Dont Want To Change It Out. Anyway To Hook Up An Amp Without It?

find a jacked car with the monsoon system and swap it. i don't know if its the same deck but post a pic of urs and i can tell u then it would be just a matter of running wires and u would have to get the speakers i'm not sure bout the fronts but the rears are diff and possibly the tweeters...

Hey, all you need is one of those hub things... I forget what their called, it connects RCA to the stock connection. the RCA then connects to your amp, then, you attach your front, back, and any other types of speakers to your amp, well, actually if you have your whole system hooked this way, amps... or a really powerful 4-channel, anyhow, I really wish I could remember what the hub is called.... you can get a scoshe one for like $20 at Wal-Mart... or check like best buy or something...

That is called a line output converter, and you just tap off of the existing speaker wires. Really simple to do! Some come with 2 sets of wires but you really only need to tap one side when I had mine in I just soldered it to the driver side rear speaker wires....bingo bango....done! I would advise however that you turn the level of the Line ouput converter all the way down to avoid damaging anything, then set it to a comfortable level for yourself. There are a ton of threads on here about such.
