Here are a couple of pics of my passenger side door where someone had keyed it! I came out to leave and my gf went to get in on the passenger side and told me it was keyed. A**holes!

Anybody got ideas on what products to use to fix it or should I just bring it in to a paint shop? I don't have a garage or access to one either and we live in a townhome, so itz gotta be easy for me to do it. Thx

Looks like someone leaned into that one. I feel for you.
Do you have an alarm? If not I would get a perimeter alarm.

AGT, ya I have an alarm but, I guess I have to adjust the sensativity level. It is a Audiovox Pursuit PRO900 or 9800. Here it is:

same thing happened to me. if it didn't get to the base coat what I did was brushed in a gloss coat then buffed it out using a rubbing compound then a regular wax.

Is it deep?
Looks like what happened when somebody hit my car a few years ago. I just used Scratch X and it came right off, but my paint was still cracked.
It wasn't scratched, it was more like transfer, but it looked like that

ya, itz down to the next layer, the primer. Itz not a straight cut, itz riggid. So every other little spot is paint and then primer or metal or whatever is under the paint. Just sucks

if its not to the primer, looks like it is, give the site a good cleaning. then use a scratch remover Scratch X works well for most problems. then use some good wax and buff it out. If its to the primer, you can try using a little touch up Paint, but seeing how big he scratch is, i'd sugest going to a shop. Just don't let them talk you into having to sand down and recoat, thats just going to cost a lot.

its to deep for any pep boys product, this has to be sanded down, and repainted, looks like its just the door, so doing all the r&i work, meaning, removing the belt molding, door handle, mirror, body side molding, door frame molding, and the door frame applique or as you guys like to call it the (b-pillar) which its not
so basicly the color would stay on just the door, and not go into the 1/4 for blending purposes, so thus said, my estimate would be around 700, not including taxes
what kind of i nsurance do you have, maybe give them a call, or bring the car to me and i will do it for that price
