and you didn't find about 50 threads on how it doesn't work? there's no way a little PC fan is going to pressurize anything.

it doesn't work, lol. even if it did, do you think 1 PSI is going to do anything?

This thread is done.

You should have searched for "electric supercharger" they have yet to be clincally proven to work so I would skip this mod and move onto more worth while stuff.

A real supercharger or a turbo.

if anything, like I said, get the GM supercharger. Its been proven by GM and its easier to install than your own setup if you are new to modding.

Personally since we know your young I would stay away from the large power adders like Supercharger, Turbo and NOS until you can get a good feel for the car. Plus I doubt the 100,000+ mile motor could with stand any of those for very long. You should probably start with one of these bad boys. http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?sofocus=bs&sbrftog=1&dfsp=32&catref=C6&from=R40&mppfqy=Z24+intake+2.4&mppfqy=Z24+intake+2.4&mppfqy=2.4+Liter+Intake+Cavalier&satitle=2.4+intake+Cavalier&sacat=-1%26catref%3DC6&fmmk=&fmmd=&fylo=&fyhi=&mppfqy=2.4+intake&sargn=-1%26saslc%3D2&sadis=200&fpos=05677&sabfmts=1&saobfmts=insif&ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=&fsop=32%26fsoo%3D2&fgtp=

I think the GM supercharger for the 2.4L, putting the stock 4 psi was conceive so the engine could take it absolutely risk free.

I agree. A stock 2.4 on low boost can last just about forever, even if you don't fully take care of it.

That proves that it doesnt matter if you have over 100k to make your car a badass.

It's not just a case of buy a turbo/supercharger, put it on and go fast, you'll need to set up the whole system. It's easier to buy parts a little at a time instead of trying to drop a couple grand on a bunch of parts all at once.

If you do buy it part by part...there are always people selling. Check the bizarre or go to n-body, gagt...ect. and look in all the stuff for sale. You are bound to find turbo parts.

J-body.org is the place to look for turbo parts. There's always a bunch of things in the classifieds over there.
