obviously he/she had something against your car....
um, i'm guessing that you'll have to call you insurance company to find exactly if "my dog chews my fenders" is covered or not. It may be covered if you just say that it was some random dog and not your own.

Play fetch with a wrench, OOOOOPS I forgot I was suppose to throw it away from him not at him.
That sucks, you obviously must be spending to much time on the car and the girl with the boobs. Better watch it the girl might be next.

Damn that sucks. I would sand it down and fill it with body filler then smooth it all out. Probably would cost too much to have some one paint it as long as you do all the other work.

I love it your blaming your dog when you should be blaming yourself because obviously you didn't train them well enough. Maybe they wanted to chew on your fender because they are lacking something to chew on like a bone. I wouldn't just go shoot my dog because he happened to do something wrong. This is what you should from now on, dont let them go outside unattended.

some dogs are jealous and in need of attention and are intelligent enough to know what you like and mess with it to piss you off. I've heard some stories like that, however it wasnt a car.

We have electric fence covering about 7 acres of the property and currently my car is parked outside of it indefinitely
ummmmmm, i think i see a way to resolving this!! yes, put electric fence around your car!!! lol jk man but seriously, that really REALLY sucks and i've never heard of that happening to anyone! Wonder how the insurance company would react "so tell me what happened" "......well, my dogs chewed on my car" I can only imagine the reaction you would get with that hahaha

There's no one to blame here... It doesn't matter how much you train a dog, it's still a dog. Hell, my dog is pretty smart! He knows what not to do and what he can do... Does that stop him? Not really... I've lost stuff due to my dog chewing on it.... It's what they do. This just happens to be really odd and new.

Better he chewed on the car than a person.
My Husky was well behaved, I went on vacation and came home a week later. He had chewed the front of my TV, the front of my new couch and a hole in the living room carpet and one in the family room.
He was bored and pissed that we left him and had someone come over 3 times a day to feed, check the water and do his business outside.
It is common for dogs to do crap like this, I have never heard of one chewing on fenders.

sux... pits are good dogs...
Fixed...
The pits that are bad have bad owners. This pit isn't bad... He probably just doesn't like Oldsmobiles. lol

He was jealous cause he or she didn't come out on the pic. So when the dog went online and saw the pic, the only thing that came to his mind was.....Revenge........

I had a rotti that would chew through small tires and remove mudflaps. She was not a mean dog that was just her thing. She played with tires. If it was inflated and she couldn't pop it she'd try the valve stem.

I grew up with German Shephards and after the training stage they never just randomly chewed something. The worst a dog has done to my car was piss on the tire.

That can be more destructive than chewing on a fender. Their urine is very destructive, over time it can help to break down rubber compounds and help cause blowouts and dry rot, not to mention smelling bad in the garage.
Not all dogs are trained 100%. Under the right situation any and all animals will be destructive.

just admit it, that chick rubs her tits on the fender after the motor. The dog... well cant blame the dog... lol
Oldsnut
04-27-2008, 11:08 PM
That would be something else rubbing the fender if she had her boobs in the engine bay. You definitely could not blame the dog then.

I had a pit-shepherd mix up until just before Christmas. He was an attention whore, to say the least. And a royal pain in the ass. He chewed through a gigantic ham bone (although everyone said it was more like a dinosaur bone it was so big) in a matter of about a week. He chewed on the door frame one day while I was at work and ripped the entire piece of molding off the side of the door, all 6'-8" of it and left it in pieces in the middle of the floor! And yes, he tore my ass up a few times, too. But I'll be dammed if he ever chewed on my car LOL

pitbulls are bred to be biting machines. they just get a bad rep for being vicious, when in reality its the stupid owners who train them (or don't train them) for it. they aren't really more or less harmful then bigger dogs, but i too repeatedly, and frequently hear that pitbulls aren't nice dogs.
