Hi all, I'm thinking about adding some boost to my engine and I'm pretty sure the tranny won't hold up to the extra HP/torque. So I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a hold of a stronger tranny? Or possibly parts to upgrade my current one. Thanks.

the getreg 282 will bolt right up.
best year to get would be a 92-94 tagged 3XTX on the casing.
This has a 3.94:1 Final drive ratio.
a reprogram would hav eot be done on the computer for the new gear ratios. but this tranny efinately is strong.
I got one here with 75,000 miles on it form TX shipped to me for $400
or you can just upgrade your clutch and flywheel and you'll be just fine and dandy.
