Sun Roof Question

Is there any lube for the tracks for the sunroof of our cars...for those that have a sunroof. Lately, when I have been opening mine it skips a little when it goes back. I think that it is getting dry up there. So, I wonder if there is some grease or lube I could use so this does not occur anymore?

Any ideas guys?

I am noticing that its cracking also, where it slides back on the tracks. I don't think the owners manual says anything about sunroof matenance?

Strange, mine started doing the same thing the other day. I put some heavy axle grease on the track and opened/closed it a few times, fixed it pretty good.

Yep, axle grease, chain and gear lube or marine grease should be fine.

i was thinking whitegrease.

i used the spray can whitegrease and it works great.
