I recently was going to get my windows tinted but none of the shops around here do good jobs around the black matrix. There is going to be fogging or white cirlces around all the black dots. What should I do. Also I have a bright red alero and I need to know what people think. Mirrored or the classic black look.

go for the classy black, mirrored won't look good on a red car. don't know what to say about the matrix, I'm worried about that also.

Classic black. I personally thing mirror looks pretty gay on almost anything. Check this out (my bright red car w/ tint): http://invision.aleromod.com/index.php?sho...1627&hl=illegal (http://invision.aleromod.com/index.php?showtopic=1627&hl=illegal)

My back window doesn't look bad. I mean, you can see the black dots and the defroster, but not from a distance, and you have to expect a little of that. If you find a good place there won't be much, just a little outline.

i have a bright red alero, and I have 20% tint all the way around, looks very good. When you talk about "the matrix" are you talking about the back window? cause from the inside, it looks like it is not good, but the from the outside you can't tell of any flaws

yeah do the vinyl, thats what i did. i just wish they had cut it a little straighter. mine doesnt line up exactly with the defroster line all the wayacross but you cant tell unless you are looking for it.

Why not get it tinted first and see if it actually bugs you? And you really don't need the best shop in GB to put a strip on, it's not that hard.
