ok, as all of you know, or are fixing to find out.. my rear bumper cover is missing (was violently ripped from the car), brackets, bolts, push-pins, screws, everything gone.
my question- where can i pick up a NEW bumper cover, NEW brackets, bolts, push pins, screws ect.. the salvage yard / junk yard / mcdonalds said that they dont have anything that im looking for, auto parts stores say its going to cost me around 350 dollars for the damn cover alone, and it doesnt come with the brackets.. so what the hell..
my car is missing its ass
so please help me ;)

(well, used)
it's going to be a lot though, for some reason these things are expensive. i have a USED rear bumper cover but i'm kind of using the hardware on my car..
i have no idea where you could possibly get a NEW rear bumper, considering they aren't even made anymore?
PS: Time to get a body kit. OSV.

ok, "new" meaning new condition, or somewhere in the ballpark of that.. dont even care if it comes un-painted, i'll go get my entire car repainted sooner or later

i dont think im going to be able to make the deadline, but i did manage to zip tie the rear bumper back on.. LOL
its not high dollar body work, and the body lines dont exactly "flow" with eachother, but it looks much better than the big black chunk of styrofoam jutting out of the rear end:lol:

In all honesty, Get a kit. If you need to do a replacement, it's just as easy to go all the way.
And Now is a great time to say Alero440 is used to getting an asspacking. I don't think that one was her first time.
She's had a couple accidents before If I remember right.

Certifit is the bomb.. its aftermarket OEM style parts, but we have NEVER had a fitment issue or quality issue with them. Great damn stuff. BEST price you will get!!

Ass rape...All I can say.
As for the bumpers, like everyone else says, it alone is around 3/5 hundred, might as well get a complete kit. OSV or Razzi, your pick.

ok so does no one like the body kit from Extreme Dimensions

that is the same design as the Andy's AutoSport kit, however, I have heard TERRIBLE things about the quality of the fiberglass used by duraflex. (ie: not enough layers, etc)

That looks identical to the AAS kit.

hmmmm so basically you could say I have the aas kit? in total I think i end up paying something like 860.00 for shipping and everything else
mrbucket
06-06-2008, 11:18 AM
Right now aas kit is only 499.50 before shipping. The extreme dimensions looks like it and they even use the same pics, are they the same??

cliffordwoeller- www.andysautosport.com (http://www.andysautosport.com) (if you haven't been there)
who know's if they're the same... i would imagin they are... but might be made by different people... and 860$ for that kit sounds like you got hammered.
to the OP... where are you located?

also, (proving you got raped yet again) vip members of the site get a 10% discount on the AAS kit from andy's. (unless that deal has since lapsed)

deal has expired, there's a list of sponsored sites on their website, aleromod's not on there anymore.
also they explain why more than one company makes the same style kit... all it takes is a little looking, all you have to do is look under the AAS kit description..
I see the same style of body kit listed under different brand names. What's the difference?
Indeed, you will sometimes see the same exact style of body kit listed under two or more different brands on our website. In this case, it means that the exact same style is just made by more than one manufacturer. Each of the body kit manufacturers whose product line we carry is an elite body kit brand, yet each has its own unique manufacturing process. Read the ‘About this Manufacturer’ section under the detail product listing for each brand to learn more about each. Also feel free to contact us to ask any other questions you might have.

and 860$ for that kit sounds like you got hammered.
Shipping is expensive. My front bumper shipping is $140. Considering Extreme Dimensions's version of the AAS kit is more expensive than AAS's $500 complete one now, $860 INCLUDING shipping is reasonable. AAS used to sell their entire kit for $800+ BEFORE shipping.
