For the Alero that is. General Exclaim Ultra High Performace Tires. My old Yokohama Avid V4s burned off faster than I expected them to, so these are my replacements. I am actually quite surprised at their grip and extreme hydroplane resistance, although I was wary at first because I'd never heard of General Tire before, I must say they have greatly exceeded my expectations for $79 a piece. The tread pattern is wicked too :P

Probably not 79 each.

nice tires. Good to know there are some cheaper models out there. my stockers are getting a little thin... maybe another year or 2 left in them

See thats the thing. My yokos were awesome for all season tires, but they say they have a 500 rating for treadwear. And to that I say no way in heck. I went through them in a year, less than 20k miles. Even me, as crazy as I am, should not be able to wear out tires that fast.

225 / 50 / ZR16, rated 380 AA A

I've never understood what road noise is lol. The exhaust kinda negates any there might be for me. You could check out the reviews on tirerack though.

Yes they come in low profiles, I'm running 235/35 19 and it was about 130 per tire. For the size you listed it would run you 87 from Tirerack. Nevermind..already posted.
