Well,
I'm gonna hold back on the amp for now, I want to do some door and back speaker upgrades first, but I can't shell out major cash right now. You guys have any good names to throw at me and stores. I now this sounds silly, but I saw some pioneer at walmart I think 6x9s for 30 bucks. I went to a stereo shop and they said 59.99 for 6x4s (I'm not sure what the front size are, that's what he said) and 99.99 for 6x9s which was outrageous. Thanks!

I would actually work on the front stage first.
A good budget brand that I have always depended on for customers is Phenoix Gold. Their component and coaxial sets are just pure amazing for the price.
I can get some amazing deals on PG, so if you are interested, hit me up.

Ok, thanks! Just to be sure, fronts are 4x6s right?

yes, but you can usually fit 6.5" with some modding (and its VERY worthwhile)
if you have the option, definitely do it. they blow any 4x6 outta the water. its like night and day.

I agree get 6.5" or 5.25" components this is where you want to put most of the money.
here is a good amp for a good price.

lol,
Well, um, I have a 300 watt Punch Amp and a 500 watt Legacy amp, 2 12 Jensen 500 watt Subs. I forgot to mention I had them already. But I don't want to install them yet, cause I blew out my door speaker so I wanted to do the upgrade on those first.
How do you go by modding to place in 6.5s?

You can find adapters for each speaker to fit the door, but in most cases with getting components I would suggest make it look nice and some fiberglass work.
But I would highly suggest work on fronts and take out the rears...let that bass get into the car :)

Yea, that's what I'll do first. Work on the speakers then place in the subs and amp. Before any more blowout :P
