well I decided to get working on the bodykit and well I covered the bottom holes since they are alwayz breaking and plus I guess it looks better. I also installed the obx lightweight crank pulley. Now I need to finish up on the back bumper and the side skirts and prep them for paint!

nice nice. while your at it get the groove, the two upper square vents, and the license plate groove. and just mount the license plate on your grill mesh in the middle or one of the side vents. would look 1000x better in my opinion

Where'd you get the mesh for the grill part?

Pep Boys ($41 for a sheet... and you need two with the AAS kit) or online.

LOOKS GOOD. dont stop do all of the extra holes. and mold some driving lights in maybe ;)

is the car staying white ? maybe with some blue flake ? hmmm

just be glad that its glass and not urathane (sp). then it would be a real pain in the ass. fiberglass don't stick !! :rolleyes2:

well I was thinking of covering the rest of the holes but not sure...I really want to ride without my license plate but Ive already gotten tons of tickets for it. I just like the look without the license plate on.

(yaleroynot) I plan to keep it white but extra glossy and bright. what do you mean about blue flakes?

I ment more like a blue pearl over white like this (it will bring out the blue on the motor hmmm)

ya know, has anyone ever thought of putting fog lights in those holes at the top of the AAS kit? i think it would look kinda good, considering the stockers look kinda odd with that kit and no other fogs really fit it...

I think that fog lights are intended to be mounted and aimed close to the road. imo cool idea, I just don't think that it would be overly effective.

Fill the holes! :)

I also had the idea of putting fog lights there and plus i found some that would fit perfect but yeah they would work best lower and closer to the road. But you never know I might try it.

DOHC Paint the car your base white and the buy a blue pearl at the paint shop and mix it with the clear...that would be sweet.

No shit. It's not wide enough. Why would I want to slap on gutter mesh and have a 1-2" gap on the top or bottom. The open areas of the bumper at around 8", gutter mesh is around 6". I went to a LOT of places before having to fork over an arm and a leg for "real racing mesh" as Redog likes to brag he has.

you could always put in some rally style fog lights in the big holes at the sides, like the subaru has... but that totally changes the look of the car... not sure how it would look or if you would like it or not... can we say photoshop anyone to see what it looks like??? :)

ugh, Don't bother.

Put some Square Flashing lights in there. Blue and Red. :)

One way to clear the road.

well back when I had my under glow kit I actually turn on the blue ones and had them blinking in a pattern similiar to the pigs....and one night after work on my way home a explorer thought I was a cop and he pulled over to the side of the highway....I bet he was pissed when I zoomed right passed him in my alero:lol:

cliffordwoeller

yeah i dunno bout i thought the blues and reds were illegal here in tx ? am i wrong ? or is it like one of those things that just depends on what kinda mood the cop is in ?
