1. I want to lower my car, I am going with the st springs and struts and was wondering what else I need to do this. I know an alignment is needed afterwards, I want this set to be fully new, all the plates the springs sit on, everything. People have said something about camber bolts and some nothing.
2. I want to get the tinting done, I am looking at dark in the back(not sure how dark, need your guys help) and about 35 in the front, dont want to piss off any cops, what do you think?
3. I need to know where people have mounted there ps2 permanently, I am having trouble finding a spot and have decided going under the passesnger side dash, any other suggestions?

1. well your talkin about the bearing plates and the strut plates the the spring is held in by
and no only below 2 inches do you need caster camber hardware
2. depends on what your state law is
3. marc is the guy to talk to about that stuff

I know the law, the rear windows can be done however dark but the drivers cant be touched but I still want to tint them around 35 or something like that, as far as the backs I wanted to know how dark people went and how hard it is to see out/in.
thanks for the answers on the suspension, and the ps2 thing I guess I will just make the brackets.

You could put the ps2 into the glove box, but it would require some work to get it to fit. I've seen it done, but can't find any pics at the moment

we have the same law here in IL about tint as much as you want in back and nothing in front, i went with 35 up front and 25 in back... as long as youre not driving crazy cops wont really pull you over for it unless they have nothing to do again it all depends on the cops... as for darkness i can see perfectly b/c it's only 25 in back. if i had to do it again i would probably do 20 or even limo.

As far as tint goes, i used to have 5% all the way around in my jeep. Not recommended. it's okay during the day, but at night i had to roll my windows down to see when i was turning. 5% isn't bad in the back, i'll probably do it to my alero, but i would keep it to around 20-35 on the front.

ok some more questions, can you guys post some pictures with the tint you have so I can get an idea, im more concerned with the front 2 windows and how dark everyone went.
another question is when I lower my car, what kind of trouble will I have getting a jack underneath it, I already have to force it past the air deflector right now. What could I do or buy to make it easier when I just want to do a simple oil change, some of those little ramps you drive up?

Eibach for the springs
KYB struts
Camber bolts.
You can get the spring and bolts on PFYC but buy the KYB's on tirerack.com. It's about $50 cheaper than PFYC

If you look in my sig, thats 5% tint.
And yes, order the struts off of Tirerack, you should also get new boots while you are at it.
