Does anybody know what the gear ratio is.
Not the tranny gears, but the gear ratio, like what a RWD car would have in the pumpkin?

I guess I'm not sure what you're asking if you're not looking for the individual gear ratios or final drive ratio.

You talking final drive? 3.05
4-speed 4T45-E Automatic
The "MN5" 4T45E is able to handle vehicles up to 4500 lb (2041 kg) GVWR. Final drive ratios include 3.63, 3.29, 3.05, and 3.91. This same transmission is used in the Saturn Vue Green Line hybrid vehicle with the addition of an auxiliary oil pump and hybrid-aware electronics. It is designed for 3.0–3.4 L engines producing up to 205 ft·lbf (278 N·m) of torque.

I don't know if the Alero has this.
I looking at it like my Delta. The Delta has 3 gears in the 400 tranny, and then the gears on the rear axle. That is the gearing I'm looking for.
Basicly I want to know at 70 mph what the motor should be turning if in "3"

the "gears" on your rear axel lol.. there should only be one I would think..
and to find out.. go hit 70 mph on the highway in 3rd gear and see what your RPM gauge reads.. if you can't then I will on my way home lol
