i came out side to my car and all i could hear was a loud humming/vibrating coming from my car. So i open the door and my back speakers are vibrating like a low, low bass song. the wierd thing is that my key was in my hand not in the ignition. my cd deck (just to let everyone know is that my stero is all factory cd player w/ deck)does not play cd's, or the radio. the song time counts up like it is working, and it also displays all the radio station. i am ready to kick the crap out of it. please help me. and hitting the dash does not work. :pissed: thanks in advance!!! :D

I like your idea for hitting the dash. It has never worked for me either but still worth the try. Ten points for effort here.
I think you have a relay going out. The amp is wired to a relay that switches itt power off after the ignition is turned off. This is how you get your delayed turn off. Correction. I guess I should have asked if you have the delayed turn off in your car. And do you have the external amp? If so, then I think that the relay stuck on when the car was turned off last. This will keep power to the amp but not the radio and give the feedback you heard. If you don't have the external amp then I have no clue as to what happened. Good luck and I hope that it doesn't happen again.

well the problem has been found. It appears that the sun roof is leaking inside the A-Piller down to the fuse box. great lots of water and wires (just what i needed)
