No, it will only void your stereo warranty and maybe electrical depending on how much wiring you do

i thought it only voided it if it isnt professionally installed?

the alternator probably isn't replaced under warranty anyway because they probably could be considered "normal maintenance"... has anyone successfully gotten their alternator replaced under warranty?

alternators can def be warrantied. I work at a company that supplies alternators, in the dept that monitors warranty claims, and they are replaced a lot.

Noisy mostly is the complaint.

If it voided your entire warranty, I think it's time to see a lawyer

yea... it shouldnt void anything.... except maybe the warrenty on the stock deck...
and if you use a proper plug and play harness , and dont go about raping wires you should be ok.

I waited to put my deck in because the trim around my factory one was a lil bunnyed up to start with.. i let em fix it first... so they couldnt blame it on me....lol but thats it

Well I voided my entire warranty by adding rims to my car lol. At least thats what the claims manager for the extended warranty company is telling me. I bought the 5 year or 60,000 mile extended warranty and I have about 20,000 miles left but they told me they will refund my entire warranty because my warranty was voided 2 weeks after I got the car so I am not complaining.

hmm, never knew rims could be so dangerous to the rest of the car, but hey at least they gave you your money back :)
