So yea, i put new plugs in at 100000 miles.. i went with Bosch Platinum +4..

I posted a thread bout my fuel issue. and i figured id check the plugs for shits n giggles.

a little ways up teh 4 tips are black. but the rest of the way is a pinkish white.. now im changing them to be on the safe side.
But has anyone seen of heard of this happening.. it almost looked like they were in a fire and still smoldering

Bosch are teh FAIL... take em out ASAP ! Use AC Rapid Fires or NGK.. beware for the ass Rippth

So then, in theory.. this could cause all the issues i have been having gas wise.. guage flucuation? burning faster than it should?

Anyone who puts bosch in seems to have major issues. GM+Bosch=Failure.

I had the +4's in my car.

Biggest mistake ever. Car statred missing like crazy, broke down, etc.

Nobody could figure it out until my buddy said that was the problem, swapped them, no problems since.

Almost traded the car in

lol.. well its not missin.. but it is reving high.. and then the gas issue that you commented on.. so yea, the new plugs better fix it. im buying AC Delco Iridium Plugs. the guy at advance auto said that the NGKs were the best plugs, next to AC, but recommened AC for the Alero..

NGK TR55 for you. NGK TR6 for me.

NGK FTW.

I think the bosch rule doesn't really apply to the ecotec so much. I swapped out mine the other day with new OEM AC Delco Iridiums, and sure enough when I pulled out the old ones they were bosch +4. After I changed them, I noticed no difference whatsoever, engine still ran exactly the same.
