Hey how durable is the AAS kit? Could it survive a New England winter? We get a lot of snow here and sometimes more then 20''.

too bad there isn't a way to order then "reinforced" for bad weather.

i'd need a 2nd car before i'd consider modding the body of mine. 9 months outta the year are just a little too harsh around here.

i dunno, mine made it through the winter fine. survived the first crash quite well, while destroying the other car, lol.

I highly doubt a kit would last in a ny winter, or in your case ma. I was hoping to put my car on the road soon, but it looks like i should just find a beater because winter is coming up!

you can order it and throw another layer of raw FG on the inside of it to reinforce it, then it would have the strength of the forbidden kit IMO

Could you just take the kit off when it snows and put the factory bumpers back on since there all bolt-ons?

you could.. but would you want to? lol

Well why not? Its not time consuming to do it or anything. It beats risking wrecking your bodykit that cost 600 dollars and paint.

If you have the room to store the bumpers go for it. The only bad thing is the rockers need to be secured to the factory ones...which would end up looking funny.

OR... i can save $600 and NOT get the kit. its much less time consuming.

Lol luckily for me winters aren't that bad around here... sometimes it is pretty deep.. the kit tends to plow snow a little bit. I don't know what I'd do if we got a massive amount though. Could brace the kit from behind or something lol, make it like super strong with metal supports and such. I had some crazy ideas after crashing a second time. Titanium AAS kit? :)

Also, your sig quote is awesome.

Well I got about 1g to do something with the car. Supercharging-Turbo is out of my mind since I don't much have knowledge about them.

Reinforce (loooots of FG) or replace with stock is the way to go for sure, just to back up a couple people's ideas.

If you're gonna reinforce glass some big rope into the back or whatever, it'll strengthen it a lot for sure aside from just more layers.

damn if I had a grand to just throw at my car.. hmm.

ported and polished upper and lower intake manifolds, and a 62mm throttle body..

or a tranny rebuild.

not knowing which one is more important = priceless. im kidding.

Yea, That's what I'm looking at.

Ma Ho can Plow through a couple feet if I have a run at it, Lol.

Only bodykit I'd think about would be the Razzi, and if it worked, I'd still get a winter beater.
