I have aftermarket fog lights on my car and i wanted to put grille mesh behind my bumper. The problem is the fog lights get in the way and i dont know how else to mount the fog lights so teh grille mesh will go between teh lights and the bumper. what are teh factory fog lights mounted to and is there a way i can mount my aftermarket ones the same way?

thats just my crappy typing and not checking before i post. i will try to get some pics when i get out of work today.
the mesh has to go inbetween the bumoer and fog lights, your fog lights will emit light through the mesh grill so its not like your going to lose much light from it.

my fofs are aftermarket, and they stick out alot further then my stock fogs, but all i had to do was kinda bend the mesh around the fogs.

here are some pics i just took of my fog lights. im not worried about the light getting through im just trying to figure out how to mount the fogs so that the mesh will go between the fogs and the bumper. Does anyone have any pics of how you did yours?

I was looking at an alero with stock fog lights today and it looked like that plastic piece was just cut out around the fog light. So i thought i could just cut it out around mine and push them back but i dont see anything behind there i could screw them to. just a thought ... would it work if i went to a junkyard and got a pair of stock fog lights and just wired them the way mine are now?

i just looked at mine and the fog lights have their own brackets that they mount on...so i would just take that piece off and check out your situation
