SES Light came on today. I took it to autozone to get the codes and it came back P0442 Evap Emissions Control Leak. I can't find anything wrong with the gas cap, so are there any more dumb obvious leaks I can hunt down? This wouldn't be the infamous intake leak would it?
Also, how do you reset the light?

Yeah, I had that same problem with mine too. It actually ended up being my gas tank! I had a crack in the top of it somehow and I needed a whole new tank :pissed: BUT my car was still under warranty so I didn't pay a dime

Not sure what else it could be... maybe if its in warrenty take it in and have it looked over.. allthou im assuming if you took it to autozone its outta warrenty... lol
they should be either able to clear the code for ya, or try leaving the batt disconnected for a few minutes and then re-connect.. maybe that'll reset it.

Yeah, it's out of Warranty. It's an '01 3400 w/ 45k miles.
So a cracked gas tank huh? Well that's something new. I guess I'll go fill it up today and see if anything leaks out of it.

I believe that's the code I set when my egr valve went. Autozone can reset it if it's not a hard code. Otherwise you'll have to have a dealer clear it for you.
