I know that the fuseholder should be at least within 18 inches of the battery, but I would like to know how far you guys put it from the battery and where did you screw the fuseholder in to or if you guys just left it hanging out? Thanks.

Mines just hanging. It's a little closer to the exhaust then I would like, but I haven't had any issues with it.

left it hanging, should be as close to the batt as possible, otherwise its useless

I have a 200 amp fuse with a pretty big fuseholder, do you guys think I should let it hang or find somewhere to attach it to?

Attach it. It will look a lot better. I have mine attached. The only bad thing is it is a pain in the ass to change to fuse if it blows.

The little bracket for mine is glued onto the battery cover. That's all broken off, but it still sits there just fine.

if your fuse is that big then yes, mount it, its prolly what... an anl fuse?
The smaller agu(i think thats what they are) fuses it dont matter too much, but i would mount it if i was you

My fuse just fit beside the battery, in the small gap between the engine wall and the battery... it's a 125 amp ANL fuse, so the holder should basically be the same size. .. dunno how it will be working when I get my CAI, but we'll have to see then. In the meantime, it's been there for a good 5 months and no problem at all.

I don't have a huge amp, so hence, the small fuse. Just a couple of small self-tapping sheet metal screws and a careful trigger-finger on my screwgun. It kinda looks like crud because I never got around to painting the screw heads black, but it gets the job done. ;) Here's what I did......
