http://www.hptuners.com/index.html

they have the V6 out and the 4cyl is in process of being worked on.

the only thing is us 2.4 and eco guys need to check our PCM pin outs to the j-body guys. If they are different we can contact them and see if it is something they can change for us.

I think it is a lot better than DHP and ASE. Definitely on my list of things to get.

I didn't see anything for the Alero, just the GA

The tranny is different in the GA

The Grand Am SE has the same tranny as the Alero. I think what Redog is referring to is the Grand Am GT

This allows for a ton of flexibility, but it's not for novices.....you need to know what you're doing, or bad things can happen. Just fair warning.

Yeah, after looking at the screenshots, theres a lot of things you can change that can screw up your car. You really need to know what you are doing. Probably the only thing most of us here are interested in is the speed limiter though...

that is a whole lot of mumbo jumbo....Have to let someone else do it first and let the rest of us know what the hell to do!!

very true matt.

this is for someone who knows what he is doing. But it has a lot of +'s.

But for you guys looking for power and better tuneability this is a lot better than DHP.

This looks cool, but like Swat said, it's too technical for me to grasp. Can we tell the company the specs of our car and they can pre-tune it, or does everything have to be done yourself? If so, how much would a shop charge to set it up for you?

The pinouts on the Js are different than the pinouts on our cars.

i just checked the pinouts for the j-body and for 99 alero 2.4 using service manuals from both and they were the same. even the connector is the same part number.

Unless you know something that GM didn't put right in the service manual.
