I'm becoming such a friggin' slave to fashion. Which caliper color would look best?

well your struts are bright red, so red would match well, silver will blend to much and black will not be noticeable enough.

Silver or Black.

I would say red or black. Silver will blend too much with the rim and may not be noticeable. Red would look best, because it matches the springs and struts. I would not use that color myself though because that is the first color ricers go to for calipers. Black of course, matches the car and would look nice, but wouldn't stand out as much.

do you have any other accent colors besides black and silver on the car? i think both would look too over done...

if i had to pick between just those two, i'd say black, since the caliper and wheel are both silver, more silver just bends. but another slightly contrasting, but still scheme'd color would fit better, imo

Edit: doh, didn't see the red option.

go red. the other two are already over exposed in that area. You want it to be noticed, right?

^^ I completely agree, red is an awesome caliper color, especially on a red car. All I'm saying is that I wouldn't get it myself because first of all, my car has nothing red and secondly, that is the first color ricers go for. I don't know, I guess they want to pretend they are brembos or something (no offense to non-ricers with red calipers).

I agree with jabartram...go red to match the suspension

i say red because, silver will blend with the wheels and don't think black calipers would look good

No, they'll be anodized. If I go either red or black (torn between the two) the Baer logo will be silver.

thats what i was thinking too..... it would look good with a little red, not too much. red calipers only look good on red cars, that just my opinion;)

keep in mind though if you annodize them it wont be a solid black. Its gonna look purple. Same with red will seem like a softer shade of pink in the light.

also, what about black for the "brake pad holder" (unsure of its actual name) red caliper, black lettering?

or vise versa...

It's officially called a "brake caliper mounting bracket" in the service manual.

I do agree, that should stay black (or another neutral color, silver, cad, etc..)

I was thinking about something along the lines of this:

its a black car, and no color looks as badass as red when its matched with black.
