Ghad.. trust me, they won't care if you have a cold air intake for your 2.2 I lived out there and i had a cold air intake and Muffler on my Mazda 323.. i passed smog like it was nobodies business. its if you happen to have Illegal parts on your car. that would be non smog legal headers, cat back exhaust and high flow cat and so on and what not

i nvr knew they were illegal. and custom make ur own? thats what im do it.. its a WAI right now
