Only comment that I have is that GPS systems that use Navteq maps usually work better than those with Tele-Atlas (like this one) in the US.

I use my nav system on my phone much cheaper and I could use it outside the car :lol:

that must use the same software as my Mio GPS, because the display looks identical.
I will second the garmin suggestion. I got my GPS super cheap about 3 years ago. If I were to get a new one, it would be garmin.

That's because TomTom = Tele Atlas maps.

My gf's Garmin has an SD slot and you can play mp3's with it.

i got a myguide, got it for 100 bucks on ebay 4 years ago....still kickin! and works awesome!, i cam play music on it too

I want one that will work on the motorcycle and the car. The frickin zumos cost a kidney and my left nut. Any other decent ones out there?

Not sure what else there is for motorcycles. But you get what you pay for. The Zumos are Garmin, can't go wrong there...you just go broke!

Hmm, I guess the only diff is waterproof vs not. I guess I could look for marine GPS's.

A friend of mine just got the TomTom Rider 2 i think....
