any1 do powder coating, im looking to paint my 2.2 valve cover but ill eff it up

If you're talking about a DIY powder coating kit, my guess is for very little extra you can take your valve cover somewhere and have it done professionally.

I just painted mine and it turned out great you just got to prep it right.

I don't know anything about "powter" coating. Powder coating involves spraying electrically charged particles of colored dust and dye onto metal parts, then baking them in an oven which leaves a colored finish that is much more durable than regular paint. Oversimplified explanation, I know.

I had mine powercoated and it was about $50. I got the "Black winkle" finish and it looks awesome. I wanted Mirror Black, but the valve cover wasn't "perfect" enough for that.
I'm at work, but in the ASS 08 thread, there might be a close up pic of it
