Exhaust bend.

Hey guys I know I haven't been on in a while but I have a question. You know where the exahaust has an elbow? My local mechanic told me he couldn't get my exhaust on because of this bend. It's a factory bend. Please fellow aleromodders, confirm this for me or just tell me I'm crazy. I can't wait to have the tools to do this shit myself, god I hate mechanics, they all try to dry F__k me i swear to god!:mad2:

hmm.. either be more specific or supply pictures of said bend.. are you trying to get after market exhaust installed? reinstalling your stock exhaust? does the word PIE mean anything to you?

what happened that would require your exhaust be removed and reinstalled?

I do apologise for not have a specific picture midgear. I am trying to have a stock exhaust installed. PIE is very deliceious. When I had my original fart can welded on 2 years ago, the moron did a very poor job. Imagine if you will bending a straw and putting it into another straw. That's what he did. That is why that shop is no longer in business. Now I have a new stock exhaust ready to go and they tell me there's a bend in it. There are like five I know I'm sorry I have no pictures. It's that one bend that has ripples in it, damn I wish I had a pic. When you see it, you'll know what I'm sayin. I'll have pics up tomorrow, i know that don't help tonite :(

sounds like a lazy ass mechanic to me.. i know that when we took my stock exhaust off, we just took a hack saw to it and it basically fell out.. but im almost positive there is a way to get that stock exhaust back in there with a bit of effort, especially with the car lifted off the ground.

I agree. I gotta ditch class tomorrow because of this crap. Lazy ass mechanic is right. Didn't help a member of my family paid them already. I appreciate the thought, but one I'm an adult and two, they ain't even put my muffler back on yet. So yeah, thanks for listenin man. My real name is nick by the way.

heh interesting thing happened. advanced auto sold me a shitty exhaust after all. what a relief. finding out that garage screwed me over (which they didn't) would be like my brother coming out of the closet or something
