Hey, I'm going to be buying an amp and component speakers soon to go with my 2x 12" subs. Looking through Crutchfield I picked out these..

Amp:

Components:
http://www.crutchfieldcanada.com/Alpine_Type_R_SPR_13S_5_1_4_2_way_Component_Speak_ p/500spr13s.htm

I listen to rock and rap, those components apparently provide a rich and mellow midbass which I think I'd prefer over a metal cone. So are these items a good match, are they good quality, and will 5 1/4" fit my front doors?

I'm planning to remove the whole rear deck with the 6x9s at the same time if I can manage it. My seats dont fold down so its all pretty solid. Anyone have experience with that in an 02?

Thanks in advance.

5.25 should fit in the fronts..you'll probably need adapters to make them fit properly.... but ebay has those.

Come on audiophiles, review this amp and speaker set. Remember they're to complement a pair of 12" subs that pound hard.

I dont know what you expect to be told?

The amps a decent amp.

The speaker choice is alright... However for $270ish you could be getting into some good CDT's. Also you can sometimes find used Rainbow Profi's with the CAL25 tweet for that price. You can pick up Rainbow SLCs for less than that price (which are better than the Alpines).
