true but $30 for 4 isn't a bad price, it's not like it is a couple hundred dollars

They've been around for a while, and I know a few people that use them. They are reported to work okay.....I didn't like the idea if a spring and a check ball in my bleeders, so I chose a power bleeder instead.

wow that would have come in real handy when i had to replace my caliper and no one was around to help me bleed the brakes.

I really don't see the problem, basically the same design that grease fittings use on drive lines, ujoints, equipment, etc,
i mean you could probably just use the grease fittings, which are only like $1 or $2 a piece, instead of $30 for 4
