Gas Gauge Problem

Well, for some reason my gas gauge needle has moved.

I took my dash apart the other day in order to run a wire for my mp3 player, and after putting it all back together I looked over and the needle was pointing out into the middle of nowhere. Now it rests all the way around on the other side of the max peg.

Anyone ever heard of this?

happened to me. It happens when the guages get power when the key isn't in the ignition. just pop open the cluster and swing the needle back and you should be fine.

Thanks a ton. Who knows how much a dealer would have charged me to do that. I'll give 'er a shot next time I fill up. :)
