are carbon fiber hoods supposed to be black/silver and not go with the color of the rest of the car?

You can paint them but on the right color car they look awesome.

Also anything ells that could be made of C/F would be good, like doors, trunk, ext...

I highly doubt it, to many problems with the shipping of the hoods.

Another cowl hood would be cool if it was to be made, its just if its in a limited production, some like myself may not have the funds in time to make the cut off for such a piece, which sucks hard. So if it was to be offered as a regular production piece rather than a limited it might make it easier for some of us to attain. That being said the people who make these probably don't want tons of hoods just lying around taking up space waiting to be bought.

I think an EVO style hood would be pretty sweet.

Two versions of it have been photoshopped on my Alero. paulyb did it and they're in the Hood Group Buy idea thread.

i wouldn't mind either but i think a dual version would be nicer, love how it looks on the supra and would maximize heat extraction
once i find someone who can make it for me i'ma do it lol, either by modding my current one with metal or fiberglassing

those hoods are ugly as a cicero ave hooker on crack, c`mon people wake up already, its ugly none of the hoods flow with the style or body lines of the car
take a good look at the car, stop thinking vin desil is behind the steering wheel yelling "NOS", something on the line of 2 small tear drops flowing into the hood and then the metal flowing back into the stock hood, so on a side view all you see is a sharp line and it looks factory but its not
ion you want a hood made contact me i will do it for you, and no i dont use the holy "fiberglass"

chris, you poop on my dreams, i love the cobra r hood, it isn't completely teardropped, but it is definately suttle and smooth, you can barely see it from the side of a car.......i'm torn, cuz i have both the race CF skin i could modify, and now i have another carbon fiber cowl.........aww so torn!!!!

it's an inset hood that doesn't change the overall external hood lines... it pulls heat out as air passes over it. it's a good looking, flowing, functional hood...

The mustang one totally goes with the stock hood lines better... It has a similar shape in the hood.

I like the look of a cowled hood even thou some may not, maybe a little more rounded and smooth rather than squared off.

My personal opinion, which means nothing to anyone else, unless they agree with me, is that a cowl hood, and the mustang hoods (which by the way, I love the mustang hoods!!) to ME at least, means you better have something under the hood to back up the impressiveness of the hoods!!
As for the other hood with the two smallish openings at the front end, I think it has a very nice subtle look to it. I don't think it needs to be backed up with anything special under the hood at all. Kinda like adding a cold air intake. I really like the look of the hood wih the two smallish opening at the front.
Now, I've noticed on this forum, that most people are VERY perticular about what looks good and what doesn't look good on an Alero. Some like the ricer look, and lots others would rather blow a "ricer Alero" away with a bazooka! I personally am not a fan of the lowered look on an Alero, but many on here love it!!
The look I would like for my Alero, is a nice set of the stock Alero aluminum rims, either the 15's or the 16's (not that different a look), the rear wing from a Grand Am (looks practically identical to the Alero except for the tiny "wings" on the top, where as the Alero has nothing on the top of the wing), and maybe the above mentioned hood I like.
I am not a fan of a ground effects kit, or a huge rear wing (a huge rear wing just doesn't sound right on a front drive car!!) a car lowered so it can't even run over a crunchie bar without damaging the ground effects kit, and I am not a fan of flames. They looked okay in the 60's on 1930 hot rodded cars, but they just don't work for me now.
Now I know ALOT of people won't agree with my opinions, but that's exactly what our soldiers of past and present fought and are fighting for today, Is for the right of us to have that exact freedom of expression.
