So, the other day i drove to work and everything was fine. When i got into my car to go home my sub was going boom boom without the music even being on. So, i checked it out and my amp was in protection. I spent some time and disconected my sub from the amp and disconected the power and ground and reconected everythig to make sure that all of the conections were good. I even cleaned up around where i have the ground conected to the body. My amp is still in protection mode without the sub even being conected. I have no idea what else to check or do so any help would be great. Thanks.

Does your amp have a built in fuse? and if so did you check it?
