as you know from my last posts, i wanna install the b&m shift plus but i can't find the correct wires under the hood - there's no corresponding plug to the one in the FAQ or the pics people have posted.

so

i'm gonna try under the dash instead.

how do i detach the clip?

OR if you have the 2.2 and a pic of where the wires go into the transmission under the hood... that would be good too.

thnx

It's a lever-lock kind of connector (specifically a Delphi micro-pack 64 series). You just flip the lever on the clip back and it will come right out of the PCM.

That is the right connector where the wires are too..

k, i can flip the lock, but what direction do i pull it? i've tried up, down, left, right, and towards me. i dun wanna pull too hard cause the whole assembly is rattling and shakin.

flip the lock as far as you can easily move it, then pull it straight (away) from the PCM.

thnx, finally got it installed. stupid splice clips don't work very well. stage 2 makes my car shudder and shake... stage one seems like its more for everyday use.
