hello everyone. Names Kris, Live in Rochester/Buffalo, NY. i picked up a 00 4dr for a winter/dd car. I only have a few issues with it that i need to research and i figured this wouldbe the best place to do it. I Heard about the site from someone on J-body.org here's a pic of my cavalier. just wanted to say hello

nice. another wny'er!
welcome indeed.
and even though you will probably mod the cavy more then the alero, that still doesn't mean you can't contribute, w/ the 2.2L forum (or is it 2.4.. i don't keep track of this crap!)

thanks guys much appreciated, took alot of work and time. And as of now nothing is done to the motor, well becides the hood being functional ;) i'm entertaining the idea of building a salvage cobalt ss (turbo). If i end up keeping the cavi it'll get airbagged and supercharged. and the eco cavs (2002+) only came w/ a 2.2.

thanks again for all the comments guys. It took me about a year or so w/ putting a little time here and there on it to complete it.
- The rims i have no idea what they are, i bought them used and repainted them black w/ the red inserts
- as for what it hit, it looks to me like a short pole about 2ft high or even a tree stump?
and heres a few more pics for fun :)

i'd love to tint them, how ever the cops are super strict in my area and i don't need to give them any other excuses to pull me over haha

What is the legal tint percentage in NY? They can't bust you if it's the legal amount

the legal is that 70% light needs to shine threw. they are horrible here. don't cut ya any slack. I did not paint it my self. i did all the prep work and had one of my body shops paint it. I wasn't that brave lol
