are they legal in ohio??
i have seen them on other cars and i like them.....
how much light is able to get through the covers?? does it significantly lower the headlight brightness since they are so dark??

they are illegal pretty much everywhere...however, if you are in a pretty populated area, cops won't give you shit for them unless they are really bored. Also, if you have really bright headlights, cops might not notice at night...they would look like normal headlights. but yes, they do significantly dim the lights.

fine for during the day, but take them off for night driving.
btw if you can find led headlights for our cars let me know. there are only maybe a few led headlights on production vehicles out there, and they are very expensive vehicles. mostly you only see them on prototypes.

it is a PITA to take them off and put them on everyday. not impossible, but if you're in a hurry, why waste that minute? (yes it is easy, they just use the current shape of the headlight housing to clip on.)

it's also because they look bad... black headlights just don't really look.. right... i dunno. headlight area is what provides the light from the car, it's normal to have them clear or shiny or a like smoke hue that looks awesome, but completely dark smooth covers? just doesn't flow.. even if the car is black

The only reason I have them is to protect the headlights during highway driving in Chicago or to long distance car shows. Other than that they are a pain in the ass.
