Um.. yeah. Check out www.j-body.org..
It's the same MP62 from the Cobalt. You can buy the kit at Pace Performance, GMPartsDirect, etc.

It's a supercharger kit. It makes whatever power you want. Stock, adds like 50-60 HP. Put a smaller pulley on, bigger injectors, bigger throttle body, full exhaust, port & polished supercharger, tuning, you get a lot more power.
Actually I'm not sure where to buy it, everywhere I look now says it's discontinued.

The MP62 supercharger is a pretty decent option. Airtonics ran 12.7 @ 112:

What kind of a computer does that have to support the 8000+ RPM redline??

HPTuners. Spark and fuel use the last cell.. so you really have no control over anything up there... just have to increase the last cells in the tables to compensate. :/

That's what I was wondering.... Everything stops at like 6500.

If you use the Ecotec GM Supercharger kit on the Alero, there is no flash available for the PCM. You will need to either get HPTuners or find some other way to add fuel in boost. It isn't a bolt up, flash the computer and go type of deal like it is with a Cavalier/Cobalt.

That kit is only for the Cavalier actually, not the Cobalt. Also, unlike the 2.4, the supercharger re-flash for the Ecotec is currently not tune-able.
