So I took ya'll's (not sure if you're allowed 2 apostrophes in one word, but it's "ya'll's" so I don't think it really matters) advice and removed the pinstripe today... Easiest thing I've ever done to my ho. Sad part is I had an ordeal with some things, left my newly bought thermostat, goo gone, and wax, along with my purse, at the car wash (took them out cause the boyfriend didn't shut the door all the way so my passenger seat got a nice wash too). I went back and found my purse (minus the 10 dollars that was in my wallet, of course) and my thermostat, but nothing else. So the goo is still not gone... it looks silly. But hopefully I can get some more goo gone tomorrow so I can take some cool pictures... even though I think it's gonna snow. I need to put that thermo in too hmmm.....
it's friday night and I have nothing to do, and no matter how many times I refresh the page there's never a new post for me to comment on, so I decided to make my own, just to tell you about my pinstripe story. You're welcome, I'll be here all night, since I have nothing better to do!:ninja:
Lmao. wow I dunno wat to even say to all that shit lol i'm bored too but i can think of better things to do than hittin refresh :P Maybe u should pick up a hobby. Stamp collecting? Bum fighting? idk

haha i know right? i just applied for a job though, so that's useful.
i have hobbies, but am too lazy to pursue them tonight :) haha.
you'd think they would just take my 10 dollars and go buy some goo gone and wax... but no, they took it all, but left all my cards... and my thermostat.

ha ha guess he must of thought you needed to clean the upholstery too
errr NO, jobs are evilll, i dunno how old you are or w/e but i suggest that you continue to leech from your parents for as long as possible :D
lol too lazy to pursue hobbies - then it aint a hobby! if it's a real hobby, you're pissed cus you can never find time to invest in the hobby lol. or you spend all of your time on your hobbies, one or the other
hm. i'm thinking it was a small child that liked shiny things and the feel of money, no? musta thought the goo gone would be useful somehow.

yeah, they probably drank it.
i'm 20, almost 21, and i am leeching off my parents, but i'm leeching a college education and rent off of them, so if i want anything done to my car i have to do it myself... and i had a job until 2 days ago, i was seasonal and it was the end of my employment :( the job search is strictly for paying off credit card debt and upgrading my girl :)
dang dang good shit, i'm too tired to post a legitimate/coherent response, gnite

your from indiana... for you.. we'll make an exception.

we had a whole thread on this (i'm sure its there if you search) surprisingly, what you said is pretty common. imo, i'd pull the liscense and see if i can find the owner, return it totally untouched. My conscience wouldn't let me sleep at night if i stole something. But MOST people would take that cash thats in there and leave the rest....

those eraser tools WORK WONDERS. We had to take decals off these bob sleds we got in the shop, and the eraser is amazinggggggggg:eek: Saved me about 2 hours. Now we dont have it anymore (some douche stole it) and when we got the bob sleds back in this year i stayed FAAAAAAAAAAAAR away from them:lol:
That adhesive shouldnt be hard to take off.....if you have a garage to work in, get a hair dryer and heat up the adhesive, then scrape it off with something plastic that wont scratch/chip the paint. Then wax it and your done, it will take you like 10-15 min

yeah i used goo gone and got the adhesive off (much easier to do on the quarter panel that was replaced 10 months ago in my wreck!), but some parts of very thin pinstriping didn't come off with the rest of it. it's not noticeable until you get close and look at it, but it's definitely there... it's like the very top and bottom of the top pinstripe... and it doesn't go away with the goo gone... grrrr
