HI, I would like to know if anybody here is able to repairs Amps and Head Units....and if no you would be nice to point me in the good direction
I Have a Pioneer Premier Head Unit that seems to have the audio outputs not working anymore, sorry I don't remember the model, I will edit later when I'll be home. I borrowed it to one of my friends and he says that it was working properly and when I put it back into my car.... no sounds except when I was getting the volume to the maximum and it was barely audible....
For the Amp it's a Phoenix Gold Mono Class D 1200.1 It's 1200wrms and when it was plugged maybe the guy plugged one sub bad and there was smoke coming out of the amp... not did any sound... I opened it and looks like there is 3 of 6 power transistors busted and maybe some resistance too, I got the number of the transistors ( FW0351 FQP 65N06 ) if that can help, but the resistances I can't measure them since I do not have the equipement and skills required to work on circuit board...
BTW the two things are not related, they did not happened at the same time
Hope there is some real audio guy here to help me out !!!!!!!!!
