Ok, Have a issue here. I had a rainguard crack so I took it off and am ready to put on replacement. yea right, this double sided tape does not want to come off my door? I tried soap, oil, wax, heat gun. whats left to try? there has to be some miracle way to get this tape off so i can put on my new rainguard? any advice is very much appretiated :)

I'm thinking try goo gone goof off or something like that, but im worried it will ruin my paint you know.

I used goo gone to get rid of my pinstripe right on my paint, doesn't hurt it.

yeah, i had a retarded planet fitness sticker on my bumper, i used goo gone and nothing happened to the paint

haha I go to planet fitness. who the H*ll put that on your car? so goo gone you think walmart has it? thats jst the orange oil stuff right?

NOT WALMART. haha, i don't know about anyone else, but the ONLY place i could find goo gone was at auto zone. i was so mad when i went into walmart and it wasn't there.

DAMNIT IT OF COURSE CLOSED NOW TO. hmmmm i guees i mise well try anyway. I wish no man to have to remove double sided tape lol. what a jokeeeeee. ill go try and find some. if it doesn't work ill be back here crying for more help.

WD-40 removes that stuff pretty well. Just wax afterwards.

grease wont do anything. Just think about the purpose of wd-40. It is a rust penetrator and is made to loosen things up. Grease will not break up that kind of thing.

go to your local body shop supplier and get a earser wheel and the arbor put it in your drill and double faced tape is gone

its yellow, and walmart usually has it, go to home depot and there to, i have seen it in grocery stores too

Goo gone will work, simple green might - you can find goo gone by the other weird cleaning products in most any supermarket or grocery store. Gasoline actually works pretty well, too, but that will do some damage to your paint if you use too much or rub it in too long. Or if you don't want to go out ask your mom if she has a magic eraser, those things really are magic.

goo gone is pretty much anywhere where there is an automotive dept...even though I think it should be in the cleaning supplies. lol

wow that sucked. 2 hours and one bottle or goo gone etreme and im done finally. thanks for tips.
