What would it be? I'm going to do a group buy with a new part since income tax checks are coming around people are looking for parts.

Give me some idea's

I'd say pods for front door speakers.

Also in the same idea as your gauge pods you made, some like Yalero did on the lower part of the HVAC.

Also, It would be cool to have speakers in the read side panels (2 doors coupé)

i'd like to see someone remake the center console (shift area) something thats not so curvy... easier to mount switches and what not.

...but that wouldn't be cheap...

Carbon fiber brake fluid reservoir cover.

It's an interior part, the interior of the engine bay. It's one of the RKSport carbon fiber engine parts that doesn't fit between J and N cars. The battery cover and coolant reservoir cover fit.

^^^sounds Kool. Are all our brake fluid reservoirs the same I4 and V6?

Yep all of those parts are the same.

Ours is more rectangular, the j-body's is roundish:

I cant make carbon parts yet because I need to perfect my cf skills before I'd offer anything. Think fiberglass for right now. Plus cf is easily twice the price of reg parts.

If you can get 10 people on a group buy for any of these parts I will make them.

i think you should make a template for the door pods. tons of people will be in the market for them. one 6.5" one 5.25"

I would make it, but i've learned from the bezel gauge pod. No way will i touch another part until people are lined up to buy.

whats the hurt of making the mold in free time, then producing when someone needs one?

i know your a pretty busy guy... but our board isn't lucrative enough for you to make anything meaningful off this venture.

Because to take the time off other projects to make parts I need to make sure Im going to have people willing to buy them or else I'm just wasting my time in making parts for 1 or 2 people. If you want it for yourself and not mass production then the cost would be higher since its a one time make

Ah, thats why i wanted to make it though. As an option away from the standard a pillar pods. Even the gauges under the hvac would only fit 2 so essentially its the same thing

I can send you some pictures, but they are low quality, I try to put them on this page but it won't work, I made mine all in plastic, no fiberglass it's still not completely finished but overall you can get the idea, I just need to surface finish and reinforce it

That would ruin the idea of having heat come out of our center vent though.

I may be willing to make more of these. It would NOT be a group buy, it would be as an "I just made this and would be willing to make more" type thing.
Ill start a new thread soon but let me know here...

could you do up a small piece that would fit in the gap under a single DIN radio that would house like a thermometer? I guess, first thing I should have asked is does anybody know if they make a thermometer with a lead on it that you could like mount the lead on the dash and then have the thermometer sitting somewhere else?

Silentalero

i use to make a plexi colored switch panel that goes under the radio but once again nobody bought it. A gauge would be hard to fit there and have it cosmetically nice

I dont have my trim part I made but.. make this type of trim peice with malibu heater controls. and the radio trim would be just a trim peice around the heater controls and the radio. I never liked the built in heater controls, this is why I switched to malibu controls (plug right in ). this is all just suggestion.

that's why I was thinking maybe a digital thermometer. I don't even know if they make one, but I'd like to see if it's 160 or 170 in my car when I get into it in the summer
