1x "Tornado style" filter from Canadian Tire for $30
1x 3 inch elbow for $5
1x 3 inch coupling for $10

You can get the pipes in the plumbing section of your local hardware store. Any suggestions for strapping it down?

could've gotten full aluminum piping all the way to the throttle body for $30-40 on eBay... which is what really enhances the sound and flow gain. the filter most on eBay come with are fine, but you can pick up a good filter for cheap locally or online.

edit: here's one, doesn't go to the throttle body though. all you'd need is another elbow or two of silicone to ditch the final hunk of plastic there.

Meh. Everything else is stock on my car, I'm sure my plumbing supplies aren't the restricting factor. I cant compare the sound since I haven't had the aluminum, but I can always add that some other time. Really, I was just killing my boredom.

It's fine I found my intake on a crashed Alero in the junkyard, and I am 99 percent sure the pipe is more of a plumbing pipe than a intake but whatever they all work the same amirite?
