Is it worth converting your rear drums to discs and about how much does that usually run to a shop?

That cause no one takes it to a shop so we don't know what the price will be. Good luck with that though. I have a feeling that they will rip you a new one with the bill.

do yourself a favor and learn to DIY. seriously... this car is cake to work on. its a great starter car for auto repair (speaking with experience)
and if "natesalero" can work on our cars... i really think a chimp can.
....and now i eagerly await for him to find this thread.....

many shops won't do performance upgrades... since they are too busy getting cars safe for the road.

Why would you need a lift to do brakes? Get a jack and stands. You are better off searching grandamgt.com for the info. They have much more technical stuff available.

Then you had better leave this alone. Being under your car isn't going to help you do anything with the brakes.

dude... you're not gonna see anything else by being able to stand under the car... everything you need to see is right inside the wheel well. you don't need a lift to do brakes. if you can't figure out how to learn to do something of this nature yourself... i would steer clear of the modding scene... it'll get overly expensive... and you still won't know anything about cars. 1 jack, 2 jackstands. read the threads... there will be more than enough info to talk you through it. that's what these forums are for... not for sight unseen price quotes... if you want a shop to do it... ask the shop... not the forums
